What are the advantages of the Stellabotte Triceps Enhancer Rope?
This rope is designed to allow for the full extension of the triceps. It is thinner, longer and easier to grip than a standard rope, making it more effective for triceps training. Because of its design, the Stellabotte Triceps Enhancer Rope reduces injury risk (but only when used with proper weight-training techniques).
Can I use a standard rope?
Most gyms will have a rope for you to use, but Fred is not a fan of common triceps ropes because they tend to be thick, short, and difficult to grip, making them less effective for triceps training. In addition, the design of common triceps ropes tends to increase injury risk—they make it more difficult to maintain proper form.
How do I use the Stellabotte Triceps Enhancer Rope?
The rope must be attached to a cable system (as shown below). Therefore, the rope attachment is only useful if you have access to a cable system. The two essential exercises you can execute using a rope are the Rope Overhead Extension and Rope Pushdown (pictured below).
